Can we talk about sourcing for a moment. We know the people who make our corsets, we’ve been in their small shop, and talked to the women who work there. It's lovely, air-conditioned, well lit, a few dozen sewing machines with fabric cutting tables. We’ve picked out silk for them ourselves. I don’t know how anyone produces a corset ethically for the prices I see online. The time and detail, the craftsmanship, and the attention to quality are real. We couldn’t provide a lifetime guarantee for these if they weren’t amazing.
I met her and her pieces at comic con in philly. Now she's stuck with me for life.
I refuse to live a life without her corsets.
This thing is fricken gorgeous!! I saw it at awesome con and I’m so excited they still had it! Absolutely incredibly amazing!!!

Why buy just one?
My daughter loves the item. We just wished helpful tips were provided like how to clean it and how to adjust it. This is our first corset.
Hello Tiffany, I am so glad your daughter loves her corset. I have been working on those types of materials and/or ideas for a youtube video on fitting and lacing our corsets. Storage: The best way to store a corset is completely dry, rolled in a bag and/or a drawer. Cleaning: A lint roller is your friend for removing all kinds of dry particles, fuzz, and hairs. Be sure to air out the corset before storage to make sure it is completely dry. If your corset needs a little more cleaning from a long or sweaty day, you can use a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol on the inside of the corset to kill any funk, but again, be sure it is completely dry before storing it. I have also had people tell me that they have added lavender to the rubbing alcohol to help kill odors or bacteria that could cause odors. If you do this, you want to be very sure that you only spray the inside and it is very dry before storage (I sound like a broken record, but a damp corset, as with any garment, can mildew while stored... and while the stays are powder coated, the possibility of rust still exists in some spots). If you have to deal with a stain, attacking it quickly helps, I have gotten ink and makeup stains out of corsets with a tide pen. You can also use shout wipes and other spot stain removers. Testing spot removers on a "hidden" spot of fabric is always recommended. I have customers who swear by only using their dry cleaner for such things, but it isn't a necessity to rely on that. Your corset can also be gently hand washed on infrequent occasions when you feel something more is needed. If you decide to hand wash it, use cool to warm water and a mild soap. Be sure to rinse and dry quickly and thoroughly. That being said, I have never found it necessary to actually wash my personal corsets in that way.
As for putting on, lacing, and taking off a corset.. I, personally, have to look in a mirror to get the front busk latched. Here is a video that does a pretty good job of teaching how to lace up your own corset. Our corsets have garter loops on the inside bottom that will help you easily get it right side up every time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3Xw8NxJ-Ak
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Jessa
