Our corsets are incredibly beautiful -and they fit comfortably. I know that sounds crazy, but any corset that is well made, well shaped for your body, and made with steel boning that will not bend and poke, should feel like a tight hug – supportive yet comfortable. These are steel boned and have a lifetime guarantee. if it breaks, we replace it or repair it for you. We sell mostly underbust corsets but let us know if you are looking for something in particular. We can always work on something special for you if the fabric is available. We’re going to work really hard to make sure your corset fits perfectly.
Ideally, should have about an two-three inch gap in the back. It shouldn’t be completely closed to be tight nor should it have a wide opening. The gap allows for adjustments in weight while still giving you the support you want. We try to stock sizes up to 42-inch corsets and can custom make sizes larger than 42″- once you factor in compression those sizes will fit a waist many inches larger. I personally fit a corset that is 9 inches smaller than my waist measurement.

Can we talk about sourcing for a moment. We know the people who make our corsets, we’ve been in their small shop, talked to the women who work there. Its lovely, air conditioned, well lit, a few dozen sewing machines with fabric cutting tables. We’ve picked out silk for them ourselves. I don’t know how anyone produces a corset ethically for the prices I see on line. The time and detail, the craftmanship and the attention to quality is real. We couldn’t provide a lifetime guarantee for these if they weren’t amazing.
Constructed with: 20 flexible spiral steel stays for added comfort and better form; 6 spring steel stays supporting the grommets and busk; ½ inch wide flexible steel busk front closure; the inner layer of fabric is constructed from high-quality cotton twill and laminated to the outer layer of fabric for added strength and a smooth finish; waist tape for added support at the waistline; 4 garter loops ( garter straps sold separately).
How do you size a corset?
Measurements are done in inches. Measuring for corsets can be a little tricky. Please know that I will do my best to give you the best instructions I can, but if it’s not right, I do free returns and exchanges.
After years of doing fittings for all of the wonderful customers in my shop, I have a little formula. You might need a piece of paper and a pen. Start your calculations with your waist measurement. Subtract 3-4 inches to come to an even number. If that number is a 26 or below, stop there and order that size. If that answer is 28 or above and your ribcage (bra band) measurement is larger than your waist measurement, subtract 2 more inches. If that measurement is 28 or above and you are squishy in the middle rather than super-solid, subtract 2 more inches. If your original waist measurement is above 42, subtract 2 more inches.
